This Home
Show we will have nationally renowned Stonewall Cooking School bringing
together all the best chefs from New England for one weekend to put on a series
of cooking demonstrations for our attendees. These demonstrations will be
taking place all weekend! These cooking schools generally cost $35 per show,
but for our attendees, it is included in the cost of admission.

Appearing Chefs:
4:30pm Richard Kazimer Private Chef Dish: Roasted Apple Chicken Salad Of
all the positions Richard Kazimer has assumed (radio host, advertising copywriter,
columnist, marketing director) none are more satisfying than standing in front
of a hot burner. From cooking instructor at Williams Sonoma and Sur La Table to
nutritional knowledge demonstrator with The Blue Buffalo Co, Richard’s knack
for food demonstrating is an extension of his lifelong passion for cooking.
“Necessity may be the mother of invention, but cooking for pleasure is pure
genius. Especially when using Stonewall Kitchen as a study guide.” Learn, eat,
enjoy with demo chef Richard Kazimer.
5:30pm Patty Roche Stonewall Kitchen, York, Maine Dish: Blue Cheese Herb Mussels Patty
trained at the Atlantic Culinary Academy in Dover New Hampshire. Under her
direction the Stonewall Kitchen Cooking School has been named best Cooking
School by Taste Magazine for 2009. She has been in the restaurant and catering
business for over 20 years and is a member of the Women's Chefs &
Restaurateurs Association and the American Culinary Federation. She brings to
the school her passion for food and entertaining.
6:30pmIan Miller Food by Design/York Lobster & Seafood Dish: New England Style Cod Stew with Yankee Cornbread Chef
Ian Miller spent his early days learning to cook while growing up in Wolcott,
Connecticut. His passion for food kept
him busy in the kitchen, and eventually landed him a position at Carol Peck’s
Good News Café in Woodbury, CT.
Wanting to further his knowledge and skills, Ian attended the Culinary
Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY where he trained under world famous chefs
and completed internships across the country.
Upon graduation from CIA he decided to bring his skills to the North
Shore in Massachusetts taking a position at Essex County Club and eventually accepting
a position at the TD Banknorth Garden in Boston, MA as the Luxury Suites Chef
preparing meals for VIP guests. (see more)

10:30amGerman Lam Glam Foods Dish: Mini Phylio Cup with Butternut Squash, Dried Cranberries, Aged Barrel Feta Cheese, and Toasted Pine Nuts and Baby Arugula German Lam is theowner and founder of Glam Foods, LLC. He currently conducts cooking
demonstrations at Williams-Sonoma
in Burlington and Braintree, Whole Foods Market in Newton, Wellesley, Bedford Massachusetts
and starting in the fall of 2008, will be teaching culinary courses at Stonewall Kitchen in York,
Maine. He was executive chef at Mirabelle Restaurant located on Boston’s trendy
Newbury Street and the Needham Sheraton Hotel. (see more)
11:30am Mollie Sanders-Laster Sysco Foods Dish: Lobster Cakes with Tartar Sauce Mollie Sanders-Laster grew up in the family
business, Sanders Lobster Company and Sanders Fish Market (formerly the Olde
Mill Fish Market). Having a love of cooking given to her by her grandmother
along with many years experience at the fish market she mastered some of the
most traditional and delicious seafood recipes treasured by the patrons of the
market. Leaving the business to raise her three children gave her time at home
to discover and create some more contemporary dishes using Maine's most
treasured resource, lobster. Now working for Sysco Northern New England, Mollie
has the opportunity to spend time with some of the area’s finest chefs.
She also loves to host and cater elaborate dinner parties in her Kittery Point
home.
12:30pm Cynthia Finnemore Simonds PBS Show "Fresh to Flavorful" and Cookbook Author Dish: Dark Chocolate Custard with a Brown Sugar Spiced Pepita Garnish
Cynthia Finnemore Simonds holds degrees in
Hotel Restaurant Management, History, Sociology and a M.Ed. in Curriculum and
Instruction. She began cooking as soon as she could hold a whisk. An
entrepreneur at 13 she created and ran a catering business that flourished for
13 years. Her three cookbooks- Fresh
Maine Salads,Superb Maine Soups
and Delicious Maine Desserts, all
from Down East Books, have inspired her many students and viewers. Her next
books about celebration food and teaching children to cook are in process. Cynthia
is currently in production with Fresh to Flavorful her own cooking show on PBS
and a nationwide project featuring the myriad of stories that depict the
Agri-Culture here in America. (see more)
1:30pm Will Gilson Garden at the Cellar Dish: Bacon wrapped Dates with Curried Apple Hash Will
Gilson is the chef of Garden at the Cellar in Cambridge, Massachusetts and the
consulting chef at The Herb Lyceum in Groton, Massachusetts. Both restaurants
are very different in nature, but collectively share the same vision:
Local, sustainable, fresh and seasonal food, cuisine and ingredients. Will has
had a life-long passion for cooking and was an apprentice under Chef Charles Draghi
of Boston’s North End Marcuccio’s when he was a young teenager. Will was one of
six chosen nationally as a recipient of a scholarship that funded a tour to
work, study, taste, and dine in and around vineyards around the world. (see

2:30pm Annie Copps Yankee Magazine Food Editor Dish: Old Granite Inn Scones and Marmalade Tart Annie is the Senior Food Editor of Yankee Magazine
where she oversees the magazine's food coverage, both as an editor and as a
contributor of feature stories and columns. Prior to joining Yankee, she
served as food editor of Boston Magazine and features editor of Concierge.
As a television producer, she made her mark with two popular PBS series, Cooking
with Todd English and Julia Child's Kitchen -- where she was an
assistant to the legendary grande dame of French cuisine. She appears
frequently as a guest on NBC's Today show and other TV and radio shows.

3:30pm Bill Collins Chef Bill.com Dish: Shrimp Pad Thai Since graduating from the Cambridge School of Culinary
Arts, Bill Collins, aka Chef Bill, has cooked at a few nifty places, including
the old Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Boston. At Harbor Sweets in Salem, Massachusetts,
he was in charge of new product development, which included developing a new
line of garden-themed chocolates playfully called "perennial sweets."
Those experiences, as well as recipe testing for a seafood cookbook, led him to
start Chef Bill, Inc. in 2001. Chef Bill was launched in the Boston area, where
Bill served as a personal chef for many professionals (some famous, some not)
including New York Times bestselling author Michael Palmer. (see more)
4:30pm Brad Miller York Harbor Inn Dish: Sweet and Sour Chicken with Fizzled Leeks Brad Miller attended culinary school in Indianapolis, IN.
He has worked at a wide array of restaurants and hotels throughout Indiana.
Brad owned and operated his own personal chef business, Harborside Catering. He
is now a chef at the York Harbor Inn, in York Harbor, ME. His culinary style
melds traditional cuisine with contemporary techniques and tastes.
5:30pm Adam Ried Cookbook Author Dish: Serious Chocolate Shake Adam Ried is a cooking columnist, cookbook author, recipe
developer, and tester of all things kitchen-related. He is the equipment
specialist on both the top-rated PBS cooking show America’s Test Kitchen and
the new PBS show Cook’s Country from America’s Test
Kitchen. As a freelancer, Adam has written for the Boston
Phoenix, Consumer Reports,
Cook's Country, Fine
Cooking, Fresh,
and Whole Foods Market
publications. He has shared his experiences and knowledge with students from
Boston University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Emerson
College, the Culinary Guild of New England,
the International Association of Culinary Professionals (IACP), and
Promenades Gourmandes in Paris, France. Happliy, his obsession and his career
intersects in the kitchen, on the page, and on TV. Sunday, January 31st Appearing Chefs:
10:30am Catrine Kelty Chef and Food Stylist Dish: Lamb Stew with Tomato, Feta, and Couscous Born in Paris and raised in Montréal can explain
Catrine's passion for food. Her background in fine arts and her culinary
experience from Boston restaurants and catering businesses have allowed her to
pursue a career in food styling for the past decade. She has worked on numerous
projects for Stonewall Kitchen including: catalogs, ads, packaging and most
recently their newly released cookbooks, Breakfast and Winter Celebrations. 11:30am Terry Remick Blue Mermaid Portsmouth, New Hampshire Dish: Blackened Cod Cake with Jalapeno Jam over Israeli Couscous Pilaf With 25 years of experience in the kitchen, Terry Remick has created a
culinary style that is a fusion of ethnic food and classic French
technique. Who would have thought an Irish kid from New Hampshire would
be cookin' it up island style?
12:30pm Jay Silva Bambara Restaurant Dish: Crab Cakes with Herb Salad & Sriracha Jay's
upbringing in Massachusetts has instilled in him a deep appreciation of the
tastes of the region, which he shows through his innovative flair on Bambara’s
menu. His dishes include Warm Lobster Sliders, English Pea Soup, Lobster
Chowdah and Rock Shrimp Risotto. Jay sharpened his skills in some of Boston's
finest kitchens, including the Boston Harbor Hotel and Ritz-Carlton. From
high-volume spaces to intimate kitchens, Silva brings a diversity and
refinement of experience to Bambara. But more than that, he brings an inherent
passion and the true spirit of a New Englander. (see more)

Chiara Bistro Dish: Roulade of Organic
Salmon with wild Mushroom stuffing and Sorrel Sauce A
Boston native, Executive Chef-Owner Steve LaCount began his career in the
restaurant business at the age of fourteen at The Country Club in
Brookline. LaCount worked there under six talented chefs, gaining knowledge in
Italian and French cooking techniques. In 1983, he became the youngest chef to
be named Executive Chef. He held this coveted position for more than twenty
years, until 2005 when he and his wife Michelle decided to open Chiara
in Westwood. (see more)
